Odds and ends . . .
First of all, please check out the interview with me on Free Book Friday Fiction. Have you ever wondered what three things I would take to a desert island? Of course not–but you can STILL find out if you click on the link. Also? You can enter for a chance to win one of five free copies of Families and Other Nonreturnable Gifts, which is a book I’m very proud of.
Secondly, for my autism friends and fan, please check out the CART (Center for Autism Research and Treatment) website. There are lectures you can go to and lots of information for anyone in the LA area. Topnotch people all around. In a similar vein, if you’re the Facebooking type, check out the Pivotal Response Treatment page. And “like” it for lots of good updates about what’s going on with that. I owe a lot to PRT.
Speaking of the autism world, I’m going to be speaking at the annual CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities) conference in Florida this January. If you’re nearby, please register and come join us! I would love to see some friendly faces in the crowd when I speak because I am scared spitless (ha–look how carefully I avoided a swear word there) about speaking to so many people when I’m not really an expert, just a mom/writer kind of hybrid.
And, finally, my novel The Trouble with Flirting really IS coming out at the end of February. I hope you’ll all look for it then and I’m eager to promote it in January and February, so if you’re a blogger who could help me out with that, let me know. I’ll be sending some ARCs out in December. And January. And probably February too. I need your help to get the word out!
